Super Bright Led Flashlight

This website is about the super bright LED flashlight I bought.


  This thing is so impressive for what it is,  it is so bright it will throw the light beam over 300meters (984.25feet).  This is what  I have been missing all my camping life.  Everyone who see's this whants to get one straight away.  So bright that it's just like having the high beam of your car in your hands. In comparison this led flashlight totally and utterly blows a mag light torch away. Which LED torch am I talking about?

I'm talking about a flashlight that can:

• Throw light over 300meters 
• Has a run time of 150hrs 
• Is waterproof to IPX-8 Standards 
• And comes with a Type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish 

My backyard is about 25meters wide. Standing on my verandah and shining the torch in the yard, the spill from this baby will reach fence to fence and light up so much area that it is like daylight.

 The Fenix TK40 has eight modes of operation. Four modes are for the primary function with the other modes for secondary functions.

 Of the four power modes these are the output ratings in lumens.

• Low - 13 Lumens 
• Medium - 93 Lumens 
• High - 277 Lumens 
• TURBO - 630 Lumens 

As a rough comparision, my mag light torch with the three D cell batteries compares to about the Medium setting on the Fenix torch. This is with the maglight beam adjusted so that it is the same size and the TK40.

Now like I said before on each mode there is a secondary function, and they are:

• Low - Slow flash 
• Medium - SOS flash 
• High - Fast flash 
• TURBO - Strobe 

It is obvious that having the SOS function would be a life saver. It beats turning it on on off by hand all the time. Any of these flashing functions would be very usefull in the right situation. For example the slow flash would be excelent for a night navigational course as a marker. Or the strobe would be good to surprise people and disorientate them in a security/police office type roll.

 This thing will run for 150hrs on the low setting. That is like 6 days straight run time. How bright is the low setting? Well it's bright enough if you are in a tent at night. It's heaps bright if you wake up in the middle of the night and your eyes have been shut. It sure lights up my house on low in the middle of the night.

When it's turned onto TURBO mode it's a super bright led flashlight that you could use as a spotlight for hunting and shooting. Seriously! And it will run for 2hrs on turbo.

In pitch black darkness I can put this torch on my coffee table pointing up at the roof, turn it on turbo mode and the room is lit up like with a light on.

You could sit and read a paper, have a conversation just like you would with lights on. It truely is one of the best flashlights I have even used and owned. I still can not get over how bright this baby is. This is one high powered led flashlight.
